The mostly spread and diversified Autohome range offers 32 models of shell tents wholly realized in fibreglass by accurate manual techniques that guarantee that these articles are top quality articles. Fibreglass is a special twisted fabric fibre impregnated of liquid resin substances or polyester, also known as GRP, i.e. “glass reinforced plastic” or GFK in
German language.
Different models, dimensions, colours, volumes, internal capacity and load characterize Maggiolina, as well as two kinds of openings: by handle or gas springs. Opening by handle
is a practical solution adopted in most of the models, a uniform shell lifting can be obtained remaining in the same position; in case of opening by gas springs – with special AirTop –
a more rapid shell lifting can be obtained, but in two different moments and changing the
user’s position.
Three available widths: Small for 2 adults, Medium for 2 adults and 1 child, Large for 2 adults and 2 children. Upon request, Safari series in Small and Medium models can offer longer versions: X-Long (L=230 cm).
Maggiolina series utilises only one kind of fabric. Its original name is Dralon® by Bayer in Munich: it is an anticondensation fabric with a high coefficient of transpiration, perfect for natural ventilation. Every square centimetre of the tent “breathes” and offers a real wellbeing that only this kind of fabric can guarantee. No other fabric can compare it. Beware of any other no-transpiring fabric or article offering a low transfer of water
vapour that can cause a series of problems connected to humidity (only emergency heating systems or valid equipment such as Ebersparcher and Webasto can solve humidity problems and compensate the lack of transpiration of the concerned fabric).
As the ventilated roof in the best houses or attic apartments, Maggiolina series is characterized by a ventilated false ceiling, a sort of air gap with an air cushion that assures a higher thermal and acoustic insulation for a healthier and quieter place to stay in case of rain.

Complete with all the devices and accessories of the category, it offers the possibility of a supplementary load onto the shells by means of 4 bars (2 steel bars and 2 aluminium bars) incorporated in VTR as to stiffen the structure. These models are prepared for an integrated, almost imperceptible load. Autohome design with a profile that does not damage the shape of the internal false ceiling, which remains linear, uniform and well refined, as the internal ceiling of most vehicles.

This model is complete with accessories and prepared for the application of the exclusive kit-Fix that allows to apply supplementary roof racks in order to transport a surf or other leisure accessories.
Fibreglass shells with the same shape, but with coloured shells. It offers supplementary accessories as standard equipment among which an internal net/hummock positioned on the roof, 4 storage spaces, a ladder bag and inlet doors provided with further arched zips for partial opening.
A new body that offers big capacity and rapidly opens in two times, by changing the position of the user for the disconnection of the 3 Rally-Race closing elements. This model takes its origins from the design of Maggiolina and the gas opening system of Columbus; it is equipped with all the accessories of the category and is characterized by 3 doors and several big and arched windows that assure the best overall view. Openings and windows have been very well designed, with no exceeding projections in order to avoid possible annoying noise in case of wind. For quiet nights both in case of light night breeze and strong windblasts.
